《人力资源管理英语》在管理学科的框架内,将学科内容与英语语言教学结合起来,着重解决学习者学习管理和人力资源管理知识过程中所遇到的语言问题,以培养与管理专业相关的英语能力为教学重点,以增强学习者运用英语进行管理领域内交流、从事管理相关工作的能力,提升学习者学术和职业素养为教学目的,凸显了英语的工具性特征。
本课程共有10个单元,涵盖职位描述、招聘、筛选、员工激励、员工发展、员工绩效、薪酬与福利、员工多元化、员工权力及法规、以及人力资源管理发展新趋势等人力资源管理领域里的主要内容。每单元包括四大部分:1. 人力资源管理理论和知识,如员工激励、培训、薪酬等;2. 人力资源管理技能,如招聘方法、激励技巧等;3. 语言能力,如职位描述的语言特点、员工面谈的语言技能、商务写作中的论据使用等;4. 最新案例,探讨中外跨国企业里(如Google、Siemens、Ikea、Walmart、Tesla、L’Oréal、华为、海尔等)人力资源管理的方法和技巧以及人力资源管理领域内的新进展。
每个单元的学习都由课前线上讨论开始,热身后进入核心视频学习,并伴随推荐阅读、配套测试等教学活动,辅助学习者深入理解知识点。作业环节包括模拟真实工作场景的案例分析、写作、阅读、情景对话、讨论等活动,引导学习者在人力资源管理实践中思考和分析,培养学习者用英语陈述、论证观点的能力,帮助学习者提高人力资源管理技能及语言运用能力。
本课程适用人群为需要运用英语从事人力资源管理领域内的工作或进行专业交流的人士,包括:
1.对人力资源管理有兴趣的学习者及社会人士;
2.人力资源管理领域内的从业者;
3.日常工作、生活中需要接触到人力资源管理的人士。
1. 了解与专业相关的基本英语表达、掌握基本专业词汇;
2. 熟悉人力资源管理的基本职能和流程,较好的掌握一定的专业知识;
3. 能够基本达到用英语进行人力资源管理领域内常见工作场景中的专业交流、从事工作的能力;
4. 能够阅读、理解并设计人力资源管理实践中常用的英文图表、工作流程、工作文件;
