I nternational B usiness C ommunication (English) is a n advanced course , in tegrating knowledge and skills of Import and Export Management, International Business and Cross-Cultural Communication. It puts more emphasis on the improvement of comprehensive skills.
The contents of this course are divided into four parts: (1) introduction to business communication; (2) routine business communication; (3) report, proposal and presentation; and (4) employment.
After learning this online course, you are:

vTo improve the ability of effective cross-cultural communication in different business situations;
vTo improve cultural sensitivity, risk identification and management capabilities;

To simply enable students to read and write business letters is no longer the only aim. To enhance students' cross-cultural communication effectiveness and risk management in international business is becoming more important. Multi-disciplinary knowledge and skills are integrated, such as translation and negotiation skills, multi-cultural elements, case analysis, risk identification and management, etc.
It is advised to apply your professional knowledge and cross-cultural cognition to communicate in English, and to using modern information tools to simulate business communication practice. By doing so, you can equip yourself with the hard and soft skills required in this Internet plus era.
The online resources of this course can be used for flipped classrooms, and the textbook (English version) was published in 2022.
