Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) originated in ancient China and has been developed and inherited for thousand years. 

It is an accumulation and summarization of Chinese people’s experiences to struggle against diseases. Based on the significant clinical effectiveness, TCM plays an important role in Chinese healthcare system.


Traditional Chinese medicine Basic Theory is a course to explain the basic concepts and relations in TCM. This course is the basic and first step to learn Chinese Medicine. No matter the Chinese Medicine diagnosis, or Chinese herbal treatment, or acupuncture, TCM basic theory is the basis. 

In another word, if you want to learn TCM or want to treat the patients by TCM, you need learn this course firstly!!


You will learn the basic concept and knowledge of Yin-Yang Theory, Wu Xing-Five Elements Theory, Zang-Xiang Theory, Qi-Blood-Body Fluid Theory and Meridian Theory. And you weill set up the basic acknowledgs system of Chinese Medicine


The formation and development of TCM basic theory is close related to the nature science environment and social environment, at same time affected by Chinese history. TCM basic theory is an inseparable part of Chinese Culture, So this course also is an direct and easy way to learn Chinese Culture.
