spContent="Crop Cultivation" is a course study the growth and development of crops, the formation of yield and quality and their relationship with environmental conditions. On this basis, appropriate cultivation and management are utilized for achieving the aims of high yield, stable yield, high quality and high efficiency, ecologically friendly, and food security. "Crop Cultivation" is a comprehensive discipline of agricultural production. Any new research results, new varieties, and new technologies in the field of agronomy must pass its inspection, evaluation and integration to show its efficacy and value in agricultural production. Therefore, it is one of the critical signs that reflect the levels of agricultural technology and production in a country or a region.

Course overview
Teaching characteristics
General Introduction
Element characteristics: This course is based on the theoretical basis of crop cultivation, strengthens the application in field management, and highlights the latest scientific research results of this discipline. The trinity of "Scientific Research-Theoretical Foundation-field management" trains students to learn about crop cultivation, love cultivation, and devote themselves to the field management, which will formulate a solid knowledge structure and practical foundation of field management. It will also enhance students' responsibility to maintain national food security.
Method characteristics: this video course is introduced by field management and scientific problems, and it adopts a modularized knowledge system and flipped teaching method to constantly test learning effectiveness and speculative ability, and active learning.
Form features: combination of video and pictures showing theoretical basis and production practice; combination of discussion, test and communication;combination of online and offline multi-channel learning.
授课目标
Students should master the growth and development of crop, yield and quality formation and their relationship with environmental conditions, master the biological characteristics, yield and quality formation and cultivation management techniques of main crops such as rice, wheat, corn, potato and rapeseed.
Students shouldbe able to use the knowledge to comprehensively analyze the existing problems in crop production, and put forward countermeasures and Suggestions to solve the problems, so as to cultivate students' comprehensive analysis ability.
