Presently, "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" is a national strategy of China. In order to cultivate the scientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurial ability of college students, MOOC of Chinese University has launched the College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice based on the College Students' Science and Technology Innovation Series Course. In Premier Li Keqiang's government work report on March 5, 2018, the word "innovation" was mentioned 55 times, and the word "entrepreneurship practice" was mentioned 13 times. "Innovation and entrepreneurship practice" was a hot term for government work in 2018. The aforementioned report emphasized the need to "promote innovation among the masses, and start a new level of entrepreneurship", and focused on "upper level" from the aspects of service, financing, and talent. Guided by the national strategy of mass entrepreneurship and innovation, China's scientific and technological innovation have gradually become parallel and leading, and have become a hot spot for global innovation and entrepreneurship. Therefore, in order to provide college students with practical guidance on innovation and entrepreneurship, to maximize the activation and unleashing of college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities, and to enrich college students’ employment choices, our team launched the College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice.
This course includes the following 16 chapters: Science and Technology Innovation Competition, Team Building, Innovative design, Solution Realization, Project Optimization, Work Display, Protection of Achievements, Market Research, Entrepreneurship Team, Business Model, Company creation, Entrepreneurship Plan, Entrepreneurship Financing, Business Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship. The course will use innovation to lead entrepreneurship and stimulate employment, and encourage college graduates to start their own businesses with higher quality. The focus is on using competitions as an important method to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education; guiding colleges and universities in various regions to actively serve innovation-driven development strategy; actively carrying out exploration of teaching reform; integrating innovation and entrepreneurship education into talent training; and effectively improving college students' innovation spirit, entrepreneurship awareness, and innovation and entrepreneurship ability.
