课程概述
课程内容包括，英语学术论文的基本概念、基本特点、学术论文规范化、研究方法，突出英语学术论文写作的基本规范和写作技巧。
本课程的重点是，1）帮助学生获得论文写作选择和整理研究资料的能力，2）培养学生在学术论文中记笔记，在阅读后写评论，在论文写作的各个阶段发展学术写作技能，包括论文陈述、提纲、导论、文献综述、方法论和结论等。3）初步培养学生从事学术研究的思路和研究方法。
授课目标
1）学生熟悉英语学术论文写作和汉语写作风格和方式的差异，了解英语学术论文写作中的问题和可采取的方法和策略；
2）知晓如何选题、如何写文献综述、如何设计论文结构、如何写作、如何修改论文、如何使用学术论文规范；
3）提高运用实证研究的方法（包括量化和质化的方法）进行观察、调研、和资料搜索的能力。

预备知识
- 英语听力能力相当于非英语专业4级水平；
- 有一定的英语写作基础；
证书要求
为积极响应国家低碳环保政策， 2021年秋季学期开始，中国大学MOOC平台将取消纸质版的认证证书，仅提供电子版的认证证书服务，证书申请方式和流程不变。
