课程概述

1.学习该课程,可以继续夯实英语专业学生和其他英语高水平学习者的语言基本功,巩固和提高学生的英语写作,修辞运用和翻译技能。

2.同时加深学生对社会和人生的理解,培养学生对名篇的分析和理解能力、逻辑思维能力与独立思考的能力,增强对文化差异的敏感性。

3.此外,对于英语专业的研究生备考同学也有很大的语言理解和运用能力促进作用。

4.本课程资料齐全,条理清晰,对于每篇课文既有总览式的概述,也有精细化的段落和句子讲解。课文单词和翻译资料也方便英语爱好者的自学。

授课目标

1.知识目标:通过英语原版语篇的学习,掌握词句篇三个层次的语言知识,理解常用修辞的定义和用法,了解课文相关的人文知识和中外文化差异。

2.能力目标:通过各个单元不同主题拓展讨论和多样化的语言拓展活动,使学生具备读说写译等综合语言应用能力,具有一定的跨文化交际能力,能在公司,学校等企事业单位从事翻译,教学,管理等应用型岗位上工作。
