该课程以对基础性的雅思口语考试进行分类教学和针对性的口语技能训练为核心,即以口语技巧训练为教学重点,培养和提升学生的英语口语水平和应用能力。
根据教学内容以及雅思考试,设计具有启发性的问题,使学生在发现问题—提出问题—分析问题—解决问题—发现新问题的过程中,了解英语思维及答题技巧,充分调动学生学习主动性,激发学生创造力,鼓励学生全方位、多角度地思考,培养其发散思维能力。充分利用角色扮演,让学生体会情境。学生通过角色扮演,既掌握了所学内容,达到了乐中演、乐中学的目的,同时逐步培养了学生的英语语言交际能力和国际化视野。
1.能在一般社交场合与英语国家人士交谈,就熟悉的话题略作准备后作5-10分钟的连贯性发言,做到正确表达思想,语音、语调自然,无重大语法错误,语言基本得体。
2.熟练掌握英语语言表达习惯,熟悉雅思考试三部分的解题技巧,能顺利达到出国学习的英语口语水平要求。
3.熟悉雅思口语考试的流程和所有话题,能比较顺畅地完成整个流程,能灵活运用多种交流策略,基本做到语音清晰、表达流利、用词精准、句式多变、内容充实。
4.学生就国际话题有条理地表达自己的观点。
