本课程将系统介绍英语语法的知识体系，包括英语语法的层次和句子结构、主谓一致、冠词、非限定动词、动词的时体、被动语态、虚拟式、情态助动词、从属结构、定语从句、强调结构等核心语法知识，单元配有知识概念图或表格来辅助语法的学习；重点介绍小句层面的语法规则。课程中的部分例句和单元测试题来自历年专四语法题、专八改错题和大学英语四六级试题。本课程通过语法知识的讲解，辅以丰富的语言练习活动，如长难句识别、错句辨析、句子翻译等，以及真实的语料学习和问题讨论将帮助学生增强英汉对比意识，提升语法运用能力。
本课程的成绩分为以下五个部分：
1．单元测验 （20%）：包括12个单元。每单元设置了一定数量的测试题。
2．作业（10%）：学生在观看教学视频和阅读延伸资料的基础上，提交书面作业并完 成互评。
（互评要求：每人应互评5份作业。未参与互评的学生，将给予所得分数的50%；参与互评未达到5份的，将给予所得分数的80%。）
3. 期中测试（10%）：题型包括单选、判断、填空。
4. 讨论区表现（5%）： 每讲设置了1-2个讨论题，要求每个单元讨论题回帖不少于2次。
5．期末考试（40%）：在规定的时间内完成期末测试题。 题型包括单选、判断、填空、翻译和写作。
本课程全英文授课，需要具备一定的英语听力基础和英语语法基础知识。
