At present, there is not a single textbook that covers all the topics in this course. We are not teaching from a textbook; instead, we are creating one, aiming to cover as wide a range of topics as possible so that you can be equipped with the necessary knowledge in English language, literature and culture, and study further in any of these areas if you wish. As a result, we advice you to concentrate on the lectures and study the texts to accompany this course (you can download them from the course material section). The books we are recommending below are for those who are interested in further studies. It does not matter if you cannot find these books--any similar books will do.

关于考试
1. 问：请问结课考试内容是哪方面的，是不是视频里讲过的知识？
答：来来来，咱们划重点……考试就是对平时学习的一个检验，都是视频里的知识，跟习题形式一样。
2. 问：期末考试的测试有几次机会?
答：一次，把握好机会哦，对于认真看完视频课的你不是问题！
3. 问：总评成绩
答：总成绩=平时测验40%+期末考试50%+课程讨论10%。所以，大家一定要记得积极参加讨论。
4. 问：成绩会不会录入教务系统的学积分里面，如果录入的话，大概什么时候会录入？
答：在线视频课的学积分各学校会有不同要求，具体可咨询所在学校的教务处负责老师。
关于证书
5. 问：做完每个单元测试后就会有证书了吗？
答：做完16单元测试，还有个期末考试，总成绩合格之后可以申请证书。证书制作是需要一些时间的，统一制作后会发放。
6. 问：证书都一样吗?
答：要给你的努力做一个见证，总评成绩60-84为合格证书，85分及以上为优秀证书，同学们加油，先定一个100分的小目标。
7. 问：请问什么时候颁发证书？
答：证书发放要等到最后所有成绩核算完毕后大家提出申请，由大学慕课为大家发放证书，各位小主耐心等候，绝不拖欠。
关于其他
8. 问：怎么没有字幕呢？
答：咱们练练听力可好？就像平时上课一样，不带字幕，视频中会提示要点，另有讲稿可以下载参考。
9. 问：能不能加中文字幕？
答：请“看英文电影学英文”的同学老实说一下，你的眼睛能离开中文字幕吗？
10. 问：没有中文字幕学着好累啊！
答：“不是真心爱英语慎入”——来自同学的答复。
11. 问：这个课程有用吗？听完能有收获吗？
答：这个话没法接……老师吐血中……
12. 问：平时测验作业没按截止时间交怎么办？
答：“落在家里了”，“忘带了”，可以选一个理由用。等等，这些恐怕都不管用，哈哈，还是设置备忘录提醒自己一下吧。
