Chinese Herbal Medicine is an important course to introduce the basic theory, the properties, efficacy and clinical application of each medicine. Chinese herbal medicine, together with the foundation and prescription, constitutes the knowledge system of traditional Chinese medicine, which provides important knowledge of safe, effective and rational use of medicine for clinical TCM doctors. It provides basis for pharmaceutical workers to carry out modern research of Chinese herbal medicine and also lays a foundation for the popularization of Chinese herbal medicine knowledge by the majority of TCM enthusiasts. Moreover, it is one of the most important methods to prevent and cure diseases. It has made great contribution to the health of people and the prosperity of Chinese nation for thousands of years.
The general introduction focuses on the basic concepts of Chinese herbal medicine, the properties, the compatibility and so on. Each theory focuses on the properties, efficacy and clinical application of nearly 50 commonly used clinical representative traditional Chinese medicine. In addition, PPT will be supplemented simultaneously to highlight the key points of "property-effect-application" knowledge. The general introduction and each theory will also supplement the knowledge beyond the video in the form of word documents for the students to learn and reference.
Teaching features: ① Elements: This course aims at clinical safe, effective and rational use of drugs, highlights the main line of "property-effect-application" of Chinese herbal medicine. ② Methods: The course is guided by the problems and cases, combined with the various styles so as to improve the learning ability. ③ Materials: video and supplementary materials are mainly to expand knowledge.
Suitable objects: This course is applicable to the undergraduate students with certain extent of traditional Chinese medicine theory and it is also used for the general fans of traditional Chinese medicine.
Note: in addition to the self-test, there is still mutual evaluation of assignments in the course operation. Please pay attention to the detailed investigation of the scoring standards (notice board instructions) and complete according to the corresponding requirements.
