微观经济学以单个经济单位作为研究对象，围绕稀缺资源的配置，研究家庭和企业如何做出决策，以及它们如何在市场上相互交易。

其中心理论是价格理论，其主要内容包括：价格理论、消费者行为理论、生产理论、成本理论、一般均衡理论、收入分配理论，市场失灵与微观经济政策以及福利经济学等。

《微观经济学：原理与应用》是《经济学》的重要组成部分，是我国高等院校经济类和管理类专业的专业基础必修课，也是经济学专业的主干核心课程。

本课程使学生掌握市场运行机制和资源优化配置的基本原理和微观主体利益最大化行为的基本条件与原则，运用所学理论和方法解释现实中厂商与消费者的行为，预测微观经济因素变化可能带来的经济结果，分析具体案例，指导企业经营管理实践，评价政府微观经济政策的效果等。

Microeconomics helps us understand the world we live in, enables us to participate into the economy more wisely, and enables us to better understand microeconomic policies. This course not only teaches you the knowledge and principles of microeconomics, but also let you know how to apply these theories in practice. It arouses your realistic thinking, and makes you really understand what the microeconomics is. 

Welcome to our class "Microeconomics: principles and applications" to experience the ubiquitous microeconomics.

Microeconomics takes individuals as the research object, focusing on the allocation of scarce resources, studying how households and enterprises make decisions and how they trade with each other in the market. 
The main contents of microeconomics include: price theory, consumer behavior theory, production theory, cost theory, general equilibrium theory, income distribution theory, market failure and microeconomic policy, welfare economics and so on.  Among them, price theory is it's central theory.

"Microeconomics: principles and Applications" is an important part of Economics. It is not only a basic course for economics and management majors in colleges and universities, but also a core course for economics majors. 

This course enables students to master the basic principles of the market operation mechanism and the optimal allocation of resources, as well as the individuals behavior to maximize their interests, and to use the theories and methods to explain the behavior of manufacturers and consumers in reality, predict the economic results, analyze specific cases, guide the practice of enterprise management, and evaluate the effect of government microeconomic policies.
