课程概述

Fundamentals of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is a compulsory course for major of Mechanical Engineering, which is taught in English.

This course has been created to allow those interested in the principles of geometric product definition to follow step-by-step examples in the application of geometric controls.  

The course consists of two parts: Theory and experiment. There are 9 chapters and 33 units in total.

Learners of this type of course are overwhelmingly likely to be logical people; otherwise they would not be involved in the professions its language of symbology serves. It enables you to learn professional English as well as professional courses. It will help lay a foundation for future professional study and work.




授课目标

1. Learning the basic concepts and theoretical knowledge concerning geometrical product specification standard of ISO.

2. Be able to use the geometrical product specification standard, geometrical tolerancing, and principles of evaluation for the geometric design of product, solving problems in real design of the products.

3. Developing students' experimental skills and cultivating students' environmental and safety consciousness during the execution of experiments.
