        本课程主要介绍家具材料的品种、基本性质，以及常用的家具材料的质量评定指标和方法。本课程定位为通识课、公选课，教学内容注重科普性，通俗易懂，着眼于基础知识的系统性和材料应用的实践性。

      This course mainly introduces the varieties and basic properties of furniture materials, as well as the commonly used quality evaluation indexes and methods of furniture materials. This course is oriented to general courses and public elective courses. The teaching content focuses on popular science, easy to understand, and focuses on the systematization of basic knowledge and the practicality of material application.

       Through the study of this course, students of related majors will gain some knowledge in the construction of furniture material system, and lay a solid foundation for working in furniture industry. Non related majors and social learners will also learn more about materials and furniture, and have a more thorough understanding of the comprehensive performance of furniture products.

       本课程注重教学与实践相结合。贯穿授课过程中的现场教学及企业访谈环节，有助于帮助学生更好的理解材料在家具中的应用实践。课件中镶嵌了涉及材料性质、家具相关标准等内容的二维码，方便学生在课后进一步拓展学习。

       This course focuses on the combination of teaching and practice. Throughout the teaching process of on-site teaching and enterprise interviews, help students better understand the application of materials in furniture practice. The courseware is embedded with two-dimensional codes which involve material properties, furniture related standards and other contents, so that students can further expand their learning after class.

       通过本课程的学习，同学们可以了解常用的家具材料品种，熟悉常用家具材料的基本性质，掌握重要的家具材料的质量评定指标和方法。

     Students of related majors will gain some knowledge in the construction of furniture material system, and lay a solid foundation for working in furniture industry. 本课程的学习成绩评价采用百分制计分，分为以下4个部分：

1.课堂讨论（10%）：学生需要在“课堂交流区”中参与老师发起的讨论才能获取此部分的分数，发帖和回帖的数量总共达10条以上，MOOC平台默认字样的讨论参与量才能计算成绩。本课程内容共有八章，每章都会指定讨论题目，学生应尽量参与每个讨论主题；

2.单元测验（30%）：本课程共有8个单元的学习内容，每个单元又分为若干节课，课后设有随堂测验（2道客观题），单元测验有4-6道客观题，均由平台自动判分；

3.单元作业（15%）：为主观题，学生需要在每个单元的学习结束后，提交由老师命题的单元作业（100-200字）；

4.期末考试（45%）：待开学后采取线下闭卷的方式，考试内容围绕线上教学、测验和讨论。
