本课程讲述医学英语术语的词源、构词特点、发音规则等基本知识，并以人体消化系统、呼吸系统、泌尿系统和心血管系统为主题，介绍四大系统相关术语的词根、词缀、发音规则、文化内涵等，同时扩展介绍具有相同词根或词缀的术语，帮助学习者全面了解医学英语术语的特征，做到举一反三，融会贯通，夯实医学英语词汇基础。
适用对象包括：
具有一定英语基础的医学类本科生、研究生；
英语专业本科生（特别是医学英语方向）；
对医学英语感兴趣的非医学类和非英语专业本科生、研究生；
医务工作者。
成绩 要求
① 作业30%、测试20%、讨论20%、考试30%
② 60-74分为合格、75-89分为良好、90-100分为优秀
