《提高英语读写1》课程通过“以学生为本”的个性化教学原则,因材施教,根据学生的水平和需求,设计个性化的教学方案,注重学生自主学习能力以及“思辨”技能的培养,提高英语读写水平,增强其英语应用能力,为学生英语知识打下扎实的基础。本课程从《新视野大学英语读写教程 》(第3版)第一册和第二册中精选16篇课文,每篇课文分Lead-in Activities、Text Structure Analysis、Language Points和Extended Learning 4个模块,每个模块拍摄5-15分钟的微课视频,对每个模块中的主题内容进行精讲,供学生课前预习和课后复习,辅以丰富的网络配套练习、测试题以及辅导教师的线上答疑讨论,可作为线上视频主题教学法和线下课堂任务教学法的有机结合辅助材料,有利于积极推进大学英语课程的立体化,实践化,网络化、数字化。
本课程重点突出英语篇章阅读写作能力的培养,并兼顾主题词汇和典型句型的讲解,辅以阅读、写作方法、以及思维模式的精细指导,旨在夯实学生英语读写的基本功,增强其跨文化交际意识,在阅读中激发学生积极进行批判性思考,促进自主学习能力形成,提高综合文化素养,使他们在学习、生活、社会交往和未来工作中能够有效地使用英语(或其他外语),满足国家、社会、学校和个人发展的需要。
