Elementary Comprehensive Course is not only a Chinese lesson, but a very practical tool for all foreign students in China.

Elementary Comprehensive Course is divided into two books, (I) and (II）. Each book has dozens of teaching units for foreign Chinese learners to get to know about Chinese customs and Chinese culture.

Elementary Comprehensive Course (I) is designed to be an outline of Pinyin, Tones, Radical, Strokes, which are the basic elements of Chinese characters, and Hanzi, Phrases, Grammar, Sentence structures, which are the components of Chinese sentences.

Elementary Comprehensive Course (II) is designed to be an introduction of Paragraphs, which are the essential parts of how we can make short stories. In order to make sentence in Chinese successfully, we need to learn and strengthen our Chinese writing skills and organizing techniques.

In order to help our students to know about basic conversations and to understand Chinese Grammar and Sentence Structures. 帮助留学生掌握基本汉语会话和理解汉语语法结构等知识。

初级阶段（Elementary）：

以适应学习、生活需要的基础教育为出发点、以听说能力培养为教学的重点，展开听、说、读、写、等基本语言技能的训练，重点关注拼音的学习，同时帮助学生扩大词汇量，学习和巩固的汉语语法知识，需掌握600个汉语词汇，达到HSK3级水平。

中高级阶段（Intermediate）：

展开听、说、读、写、译等基本语言技能的训练，同时帮助学生扩大词汇量，适当增加与职业、行业相关的汉语词汇1200个，达到HSK4级水平。拓宽学生知识面，根据留学生面临的专业划分情况，引入与其行业有关的行业汉语知识，增强课程的针对性。重点放在培养学生汉语综合应用能力上，提高学生的汉语应用阅读写作和翻译技能，加强对学生学业的需要。
