课程概述

《英语进阶读与写》以主题构成学习单元，强调学与用相结合的体验式学习，通过阅读获取主题输入信息，通过讨论理解主题和交流观点，通过写作完成主题产出。

该课程包含六个单元的内容。单元主题之间有一定的逻辑联系，围绕着个人发展，品质提升的方方面面层层推进。每个单元围绕着一个中心议题开展一系列的语言活动。单元学习过程就是通过交互活动完成学习任务的过程，也是不断体验、认知、再体验、再认知的过程。

《英语进阶读与写》是这样为你安排的：

Unit 1 Rediscovering Yourself (发现自我)

你是否爱琢磨：自己是怎样的一个人？这辈子能干什么？拥有什么力量才能把世界变得更好？好吧，先去看看成功人士的“成就公式”，再为自己制定一个行动计划，并尝试改变自己的某一点，无论成功与否都有助于重新了解你自己。

Unit 2 Approaching Great Minds (伟人身影)

伟人之所以伟大是因为他们为人类社会做出了巨大的贡献。了解他们与常人不同的思想和特质或许能让我们探索到伟人的“秘籍”。其实普通人也能成为伟人，只要你有一颗伟人的心，假以时日，这颗心就能装下全世界。

Unit 3 Being a Citizen (公民意识)
