课程概述
This course is for the foreign students, who study in the bachelor program at the university. The course introduces the aspects of Chinese society, which are related with people's daily life, and the corresponding customs. The main content includes customs of important moments in life, dressing customs, dietary customs, living customs, festival customs, transportation in China and faith customs. By taking this course, foreign students can get a better understanding about Chinese people's behavior, their daily life, their tradition, and the society they are living in, thus a more profound comprehension of Chinese culture. The course will be given in English, therefore there is no requirement for students' Chinese proficiency.
成绩 要求
The final score of the course is composed of 3 parts: attendance (20%), midterm exam or homework & class performance (30%) and final exam (50%). A final score of 55 points is the lowest requirement to pass the course.
